With her winter coat, Tupelo is an adorable yellow fluff ball.  She remains healthy and perky.  At 5 months old she now ties, leads, stands for grooming and farrier, and has had a few round pen sessions.

Daddy-O  remains in light work just to keep him developing mentally and physically.  He hacks in the indoor and the open fields (weather permitting).  Just started cantering under saddle.  He’s got three excellent gaits and a great brain!  I adore this little guy.

Manny’s training is proceeding so well. He now lunges in a surcingle — never an objection on his part. What a pleasure he is, and so handsome. Check out his photos from the Heartland Welsh Show.

Manny was shown at the Heartland Welsh Double Gold show in August.  This was his first trip ever away from home.   Showing in the Half-Welsh Colts and Geldings 2 and Under, he brought home a first place under one judge, and a third under the other judge.  He was pinned Reserve Champion by the same [...]

Daddy-O has a new sales price that reflects his substantial increase in value now that he is under saddle.  We are walking and trotting indoors and out, as well as working on free-jumping.

This child now has a name.  It appears she will be a palomino like her dam.  She is named after one of my favorite Van Morrison songs:  “Tupelo Honey”.  More photos coming!

Spiderman is now enjoying his stay with Carol Bailey of Everwood Stables in Gore, Virginia.  Carol and her many children (all expert pony riders) will be schooling Spiderman and showing him locally for the summer.  He has reached the stage in his career that he is ready for child riders, and ready for show ring [...]
