Qualen’s Gangrels Farm occupies 27 acres in Westfield, Indiana, an agricultural area just north of Indianapolis. Although surrounded by large crop fields, our immediate neighbors include a deer farm, and an elk farm — excellent training experiences for the ponies!
Facilities include four board and woven wire pastures with run-in sheds, an eight-stall barn with wash rack, small indoor arena, tack room and laundry facilities, and utility barn. In addition there is a small mare-foal pasture and round pen. It’s a pony breeder’s dream farm!
Our ponies are mostly on 24-7 turn-out. Stalls are used for night time housing of my TB hunter, our retired broodmare, and any pony who needs to have their forage limited or is being readied for showing. Otherwise we love to have them all out moving and socializing!
