Commence the Magic

Mapleside Mr. Magic (Holsteiner / Welsh) x New Rex Commences (x Farnley Stretton)
Half-Welsh, Reg #: H7716

Foaled 4/16/2008

We have high hopes for this young guy. His sire is a producer of many Hunter Champions. His dam is our fancy Sec. B mare. He is very athletic and a joy to watch in the pasture. He is also easy to handle and striking to look at. He is now beginning to wear tack.  Should be under saddle by Fall.  This one may be famous.

For sale: $3500

News Flash — Manny 12/12/09

Manny’s training is proceeding so well. He now lunges in a surcingle — never an objection on his part. What a pleasure he is, and so handsome. Check out his photos from the Heartland Welsh Show.

News Flash — Manny 9/20/09

Manny was shown at the Heartland Welsh Double Gold show in August.  This was his first trip ever away from home.   Showing in the Half-Welsh Colts and Geldings 2 and Under, he brought home a first place under one judge, and a third under the other judge.  He was pinned Reserve Champion by the same judge in the Half-Welsh 2 and Under (Colts, Geldings, and Fillies).  Note that he was shown in excellent company, and that included both weanlings and two year-olds!  Not bad for a yearling to bring home a Reserve in that age group!  We are very proud of this youngster.
