Big-boned, bright, and bold, this filly looks very much at birth like her half-brother, Hoosier Daddy. This mare produces nice moving, good brained babies. Sire is a small buckskin with tons of presence and tons of jump in the field.  Here are her latest photos, taken at 3 months of age.  Tupelo is now weaned, leads, and has been in the round pen.  What a doll-baby!

Daddy-o has been a great joy to have in our training barn. At two years old he sticks at 14.2 hands. Daddy-O is on his way to being a real eye-catching small Junior Hunter Prospect. He is a bright chestnut with three stockings and a blaze. He shows a ground covering fancy trot and canter in the field. He is very eager to please and training has not been an issue. He works regularly in the round pen, and is now under saddle. With his looks, personality and talent he will make a very nice show hunter.

“Spiderman is an adorable 12h 1/2″ grey gelding.  He is a bright, alert, “best-friend” sort of pony.  Spiderman is now in regular work under saddle, indoors and out.  He is currently at Carol Bailey’s farm in Virginia packing many children around over crossrail courses.  He is a nice mover on the flat, and exceptional over fences!  He free jumps easily to 2′6″, and has plenty of stride to get down the lines.  Spiderman has excellent Welsh bloodlines, his sire, Glencoe Nimbus is a proven producer of typey hunter ponies.

Spiderman is really ready to go now.  He is child-safe, has local show experience, is packing kids around small courses.  Carol tells me he never even looks at the jumps anymore.  This little guy needs a home with a child to love, preferably someone who will continue his hunter training.  He could/should be a serious competitor.

With her winter coat, Tupelo is an adorable yellow fluff ball.  She remains healthy and perky.  At 5 months old she now ties, leads, stands for grooming and farrier, and has had a few round pen sessions.

Daddy-O  remains in light work just to keep him developing mentally and physically.  He hacks in the indoor and the open fields (weather permitting).  Just started cantering under saddle.  He’s got three excellent gaits and a great brain!  I adore this little guy.

Manny’s training is proceeding so well. He now lunges in a surcingle — never an objection on his part. What a pleasure he is, and so handsome. Check out his photos from the Heartland Welsh Show.
