Sunflower || 2001
Large, grade Palomino mare

Sunflower is a 14h 1″ pony with good conformation and nice hunter-type movement.  She was added to our herd to produce size and color.  She is a deep caramel Palomino.  Sunflower produces foals with wonderful temperaments and fancy movement.  Her first foal for us was Hoosier Daddy.   Last year’s filly, Tupelo Honey is just as nice as her half brother, and is palomino to boot!  This year’s foal, Qualen’s Bailiwick is much like his half-brother, Daddy-O. Chestnut with four whites, and very loving. Alas, Sunflower is too large to breed to Maple Side Mr. Magic and reliably get ponies from the cross. She has just had 60 days of professional rides to tune up her skills under saddle.  She is now available for sale to the right home. She is a really cute mover, very forward, comfortable. Brave on trail.  She goes English or Western, but looks best in Western tack. Should be a really fine trail horse, or a great 4h or Pony Club project. Excellent ground manners. Still green, but reliable walk, trot, canter indoors, outdoors, or on trail. Give her a try, she’s alot of fun!
